Archery Camp

Session 3, 5 and 7

For campers entering Grades 5-9
 Addition of slingshots to the program!
 Covers advanced topics such as range safety, equipment operation, maintenance, and repair.
 Participate in an in-house archery tournament

Craft Camp

Session 5: July 23-July 27

Session 8:  August 13-August 17

We will be offering a week long Craft Camp for boys and girls in grades 3rd-5th!

Throughout the week campers will create several memorable art and craft pieces. Campers will have the opportunity to explore multiple mediums  (sculpture, drawing, painting, and fiber arts) and materials (pencils, paint, recycled items and more). This week long program is open to the creative minded or those that want to become more creative; our only requirement is you arrive with your imagination ready!

We will offer a wide variety of projects that campers will be putting on display for an “Art Gallery” on Friday for all of camp and their parents to see!

Golf Camp

Sessions 4: July 16-July 20 

Session 5:  July 23-July 27 

Session 6:  July 30- August 3 

Session 7:  August 6-August 10 

for campers entering Grades 5-9

  • Partnership with Ravenwood Golf Club
  • Teaches the fundamentals of golf, including club skills, course etiquette, game knowledge, and strategy, along with the character education inherent in the game of golf.
  • Campers will leave Camp Arrowhead promptly at 9:00am Monday through Thursday and arrive at Ravenwood Golf Course for a one-hour clinic.
  • Our golfers will then travel to Victor Hills for three hours of play time on their executive course.
  • Campers will arrive back at YMCA Camp Arrowhead in time for the afternoon dismissal at 4:00pm (busing, AM, and PM Care are available).
  • On Friday, campers will enjoy the Camp Arrowhead experience with the rest of their peers.

Campers bring their own equipment, however clubs are available through Ravenwood at no extra charge

Session 6 (YMCA Members:  $420, Program Members:  $554)

  • A step up from the original MACH-1 camp (although not a prerequisite to attend)
  • Take part in new challenges like:
    • Canoe & kayaking at the Genesee Water Ways
    • SCUBA & Snorkeling at the Rochester Aquatics Center**
    • Stand-up paddle boarding and sailing at Bay View YMCA
  • Very limited number of spots available!  This camp will fill fast, don’t delay!
  • Campers MUST pass the deep end test at Camp Arrowhead or Southeast Family YMCA prior to the start of camp.
  • **For SCUBA, campers must be at least 10 yrs old to dive in the deep end. Any camper under 10 yrs old must stay in shallow end with SCUBA gear.

MACH-1 (Multi-Adventure Challenge Camp)

Session 3 and 8 for campers entering Grades 5-9 (YMCA Members:  $376, Program Members:  $511)


  • Campers will explore our 55-acres while gaining new skills in mountain biking, high ropes, archery, and outdoor survival skills.
  • This program is designed for campers who are new to outdoor adventure and those who seek to challenge themselves.
  • On Thursday, adventurers will participate in a camp-wide challenge where they will put their teamwork, creek and trail navigation, archery, biking, fire and shelter building, climbing, and other valuable skills to the test.

Mountain Bike Camp

Sessions 1,4,6 and 8 (YMCA Members:  $269, Program Members:  $404)


  • In collaboration with Park Ave. Bike Shop, Camp Arrowhead offers a comprehensive mountain bike and trail program.
  • Campers will learn progressive mountain biking skills, bike and equipment maintenance, responsible riding, and safe trail usage.
  • Part of this program will focus on environmental responsibility.  Campers will learn how to build and maintain a trail system while developing skills on camp property.
  • All equipment is provided; closed-toe shoes are required.

STEMtronics Camp

Sessions 1, 3, 5, and 7 (YMCA Members:  $296, Program Members:  $430)

Grades 3rd-5th

  • Explore the technical side of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) in an exciting hands-on outdoor classroom
  • Interactive activities include ice cream making, tin foil ship sailing, and rocket ship building
  • Campers will use wood, Legos, toothpicks, blocks, cards, and whatever their imagination allows to learn and complete a variety of tasks
  • Put some common myths to the test!

Camp Cory Sampler – Campers Ages 7-12

Session 9 and 10

(YMCA Members:  $404, Program Members:  $528)


  • Spend Monday and Tuesday enjoying traditional day camp activities at Camp Arrowhead
  • Wednesday morning campers will travel to the Y’s Camp Cory located on beautiful Keuka Lake (for more information on Camp Cory, visit
  • From Wednesday to Friday, campers will have a traditional overnight camp experience, including sailing, zip lining, bounce, kayaking and more
  • On Friday night, parents will travel to Camp Cory to pick up their campers, have a chance to meet the overnight staff and tour the camp
