Counselor in Training (CIT)

Life Saver Overview

COUNSELOR IN TRAINING (CIT)

FOR CHILDREN AT LEAST 15 YEARS OLD

Counselor in Training (CIT) – Must be 15

The CIT program is a 4 week experience that prepares your child to become a strong leader for the next generation! The CIT program focuses on the “HOW” we do what we do as leaders at Camp Arrowhead. This is a first look at what it’s like to be an actual counselor. During these 4 weeks, teens will engage in day to day hands on activities with the younger camp units as well as build leadership, problem solving, and teamwork skills. This program is a great first stepping stone in becoming a full-fledged Camp Arrowhead staff member.

Each CIT will be provided the chance to put their newly learned skills into action assisting with both camper groups and instructional areas. Interested applicants must fill out the application form (completed by camper) and registration form (completed by parent).

  • Session 1 – 4
  • Session 5 – 8
