Thank you for choosing YMCA Camp Arrowhead and giving your child the gift of camp! Please review the information below, including the Parent Packet (see link above) which is a great resource and will answer most of your questions. IMPORTANT: Camper Immunization Records- New York State Department of Health requires each camper to provide a copy of their immunization records to attend camp. Camper’s most up to date immunization records are due no later than June 1, 2018. Immunizations can be dropped off at Camp Arrowhead, the Southeast Branch Welcome Center, faxed to 585-383-4598, or by email.


  • Lunches must be packed ready to eat, a non re-heatable lunch.  Like school, please pack an ice pack if your lunch should require it.
  • Swimsuit & Towel

Registration Information

You spoke, we listened! Hearing the difficulties many have had with our new online  registration, we made a change!  Thank you for your feedback. We have already committed to a better system for 2018!!      Stay tuned for more information!

Parent Forms

Medication Authorization Form (If your child will need a prescription or over-the-counter medication administered during the camp day, please complete this form and turn in with the medication in its original container. This form must be signed by Licensed Physician.)

Split Billing Form (to be used with parental court agreement-one must be completed by each party)

Camp Day

The camp day runs from 9:00am – 4:00pm. AM and PM extended Day Camper Care programs are included as part of the session tuition. Morning camper care begins at 7:00am and afternoon extended care is available until 6:00pm, with the exception of Camp Northpoint which is open from 6:30am – 6:30pm.

Morning Drop-Off

AM Camper Care begins at 7:00am daily. Pre-registration is required for the Camper Care programs.

Afternoon Pick-Up

Pick-up begins at 4:00pm and Camper Care is available until 6:00pm daily. Anyone picking up a camper must be listed on child’s Authorized Pick-up List and must present proper photo identification.

Early Pick-Up and Departure

Please provide written notice if you need to pick-up your child early.
All early pick-ups should occur before 3:30pm. We are unable to accommodate early pick-ups between 3:30pm and 4:00pm.
Please be aware that due to the size of the camp property, it’s likely your child’s group will not be in the immediate area of the camp office. Your cooperation in scheduling all early pick-ups in advance is greatly appreciated.


Please notify the camp if your child will be absent.
Campers Walking/Biking to Camp

If your child will be walking/biking to and from camp please send a signed note to the camp office with specific days and dates that this is permitted. Please remind your child to sign-out with their counselors before departing each day.
